BUPA Now Pay For Your Reflexology Treatments!

Fantastic news for all Reflexologists, and their clients!

Bupa have agrreed to pay for Reflexology treatments for their members through the launch of their “Bupa Additional Health” package.

“This allows customers to claim money back on a variety of everyday healthcare costs that aren’t covered by traditional private medical insurance schemes and are not readily available on the NHS.

Traditional cash plans enable people to claim cash towards private medical treatment like physiotherapy or consultation fees. The Bupa Additional Health scheme complements your existing cover by helping with everyday healthcare costs like paying for dental, optical, chiropody, reflexology, acupuncture and prescription costs.

It’s the first time that Bupa has offered reflexology – a complementary therapy which stimulates the nerve endings in the feet to help alleviate pain in other parts of the body – as part of a cash plan.

Emma Exelby, Sales Manager for Bupa Cash Plan, said:

We’ve listened to customers carefully in designing the product and have included benefits they particularly want, including reflexology.

“People can also choose between three levels of cover, individual, couple and family, with up to a 100 percent refund of expenses up to benefit limits. They can also call a 24-hour helpline to get free advice on medical, financial and legal issues.

“Bupa Additional Health is an excellent complement to private medical insurance, so will appeal to people with and without health cover,” said Emma.
