Reflexology

Reflexology is the application of various degrees of pressure to specific parts of the soles, tops and sides of the feet – all of which correspond to specific areas on the body. Within the feet are numerous nerve endings which when stimulated by massage send information through the nervous system and up the spinal column back to the corresponding part of the body. This is thought to be the reason why Reflexology can work so well.

Over 70% of health problems are related to stress and Reflexology well known as being highly effective for stress relief. Reflexology can be an effective alternative therapy for many common health issues such as:

-Infertility (as well as during Pregnancy/Labour & Post labour)

-Sleep disorders

-Digestive problems (e.g IBS)

-Stress

-Headaches

Treatments are tailored to meet your specific needs. Whether you want to relax and unwind or focus on a specific health complaint I will always discuss this with you at the beginning of each treatment to ensure you get the best from your session. I can also provide treatments based around your IVF/menstrual cycle if you are trying to conceive.

Treatments cost £30 (or £25 for a half hour taster session) and take place in a quiet, private and relaxing treatment room at The Beauty Studio in Farndon. I do frequently have offers on so please visit my blog for those that are available. I do also offer discounts for block bookings. Some private health plans may also cover some or all of the costs of treatments.
